Customer Experience
Deliver a warm, welcoming, and attentive guest experience from arrival to departure, making sure every guest is walked through the venue layout, how their session flows and what to expect from the saunas, plunge pools and shared spaces. Monitor sauna and plunge pool conditions (temperature, cleanliness, equipment), ensuring every sauna is at its best temperature for each session through correct stove or heater management. Oversee daily plunge pool cleaning, chemical treatment and water testing, and ensure results are recorded. Make sure the team understands the temperature, hygiene and etiquette guidelines for all sauna and plunge experiences, as well as the venue’s safety procedures. Ensure all cleaning routines and deep cleans are completed to standard. Respond to incidents and follow emergency procedures.

Oversee daily opening and closing procedures and keep sessions running on time, including check-ins, check-outs, wristbands and transitions between sessions. Oversee use of the booking system, including cancellations, reschedules and voucher redemptions. Manage POS operations and basic cash handling, ensuring payments, gift vouchers, offers and memberships are processed accurately. Monitor stock levels (towels, water, merchandise and hygiene supplies) and report supply needs. Log incidents, maintenance issues, lost property and daily updates.

Act as a link between the team and management, passing on guest feedback and the team’s ideas for improving the experience.

About Us
The Hot Box is one of Ireland’s fastest-growing wellness brands, offering a variety of unique wellness and relaxation facilities across the country, especially well known for outdoor saunas and plunge pools in tranquil surroundings and places of natural beauty.
Our team is held together by five values. If they sound like you, you’ll feel right at home:
Give a damn: You care deeply about what you do and the standard you do it to. If something isn’t right, you take ownership and act.
Get things done: You value action and outcomes over over-analysis. You move fast and follow through until the job is finished to a high standard.
Be a team player: You put the team ahead of ego, titles, or personal wins. You show up for the people around you and do what’s needed, even when it isn’t strictly “your job.”
No bull: You’re honest, direct, and transparent, even when the truth is a little uncomfortable. You say what you mean, with respect.
Keep your promises: You do what you say you’ll do, for guests and teammates alike. If something slips, you flag it early, own it, and fix it.
